Tracts in Arabic
A. Newer Arabic Tracts
Here is a full page (front and back) tract called Search for Truth, written in English, Italian, & Arabic. This tract was written after we received a full page Islamic tract in Italian which some Muslims wrote to convert Christians to Islam. Our tract explains what Christians believe, in a way that Muslims can understand, and has been very well received. At the end there is space to put in your own contact information. Click the links below to download in each language.
English: Search for Truth
Italian: Search for Truth
Arabic: Search for Truth
...............................................
We also have seven smaller tracts in Arabic (see picture above), which are very convenient to make and to carry in your pocket. The descriptions of these tracts, and the instructions for printing them are here. The individual PDF tracts can be downloaded from the links below:
1.Repent: The title of this tract is taken from Mark 1:15 and basically explains the Gospel.
2.God is Love: Talks about God's love that He shows man through His creation and also by sending Christ to die on the cross for us. Verses: Romans 5:5; 1 Cor 13:4-8
3.God's Moral Balance: Many people think that they are good because of their prayers, fasting, and by going on the pilgrimage to Mecca etc., but this tract calls people to consider some of their sins like pride, love of money, greed, sexual desires, apathy, and lying. It concludes that all of us are bad and need to ask God for forgiveness and for the blood of Christ to purify us. Verses: 1 Pet 5:5; Rom 3:10, 12; 1 Pet 1:18-20; 1 John 1:7, 9.
4.Forget the Past: Gives examples of misfortune and events whose memories would haunt people (i.e. a guy taking advantage of girls, a guy taking drugs, a woman angry with her husband who gets a heart attack). It then gives the example of David and how God forgave him even after committing adultery and killing a man. Verses: Matt 11:28; Psalm 32:1, 2, 5
5.Goal of Life: tells the story of a young man who talks with his grandfather about the purpose of life, concluding that the goal of life isn't about being successful, having a family, or a good job, and eventually retiring and dying. The young man concludes that eternal life is really what matters the most. Verses: Psalm 90:12
6.Quran's Opinion (about the Torah and Injil): It asks the question: When was the Bible corrupted (as Muslims say), before or after the Quran? It tells how the manuscripts which date both before and after the Quran are the same. (Quranic verses: Maida 43-48; Al-Imran 2; An'aam 34, 115; Yunis 64; hajr 9; Maida 68.)
7.Quran's Testimony (about the Torah and Injil): Essentially the same as "Quran's Opinion." Talks about the historical evidence (manuscripts), and the Quran's testimony about the Torah and Injiil. It concludes that since the Quran testifies that the Bible is correct, Muslims need to know the message of the Bible. The last paragraph talks about that message - that we are sinners, but God sent Christ to save us. Verses: Bible: Romans 3:12, 23. Quran: Bakara 159; Maida 43-46, 68; Israa 77; In'aam 34
B. Older Arabic Tracts
Most of these tracts are two-sided. You can print the first side on one page, then, using the same paper, print the second side. Remember that Arabic reads from right to left, so the end is usually where the beginning in English would be. To download, click on the paper size you want to use (A4 - Europe, Letter - North America).
For the PDF versions, be sure when printing to set the Page Orientation to "Landscape", and set Page Scaling to "None".
Tract 1 The Love of God for Man – This tract speaks about the love that God has for man, which is something foreign to Islam's understanding of God. There are small marks on the tract showing where to fold it. The graphic that says "L'amore de Dio per l'uomo" is on the front with the back of the folded tract being blank (you can put your church information there).

Tracts in Bengali (Bangladesh)
Here are five tracts in pdf format in Bengali. There are two tracts per page. Each pdf has two pages; print one page on the front, and the other page on the back. Then cut the page in half by cutting along the two grey lines that are halfway down the page. Then fold each tract in half, with the graphic on the front. Bengali reads left to right like English.
1.BEN 01 Ghurni: The first tract with the boy and the boat is titled "Ghurni" which means Cyclone. It is a story of two boys named Rahim and Karim who are playing together in the water near the shore when a cyclone suddenly strikes unexpectedly. The rising water, wind, and churning waves cause both boys to fight to stay alive. They both start to swim for a tree to hang on for dear life. One of the boys, Rahim, reaches the tree and when he looks for his friend, he realises that he didn't make it and has drowned. The tract then goes on to draw the analogy to how man thinks he can swim around in sin and evil deeds and when the results of his sin begin to manifest, he may rely on his own strength and effort to save himself, but in fact he can't. James 1:14-15 is quoted to reinforce how man is led away by his own evil desires and this gives birth to sin which gives birth to death. It quotes Romans 3:23 and 6:23 and explains that the death resulting from sin is spiritual as well as physical death and is like a powerful storm against which our best efforts cannot save us. Jesus said that He came to bring life. He did not come to establish a religion, because following a religion cannot save us. Jesus gave his life and shed his blood for us that we could be saved from the storm of temptation and the result of sin. He died and was raised to life for our salvation. The tract ends with a story about a woman who is waiting to hire a bicycle rickshaw to take her somewhere. The first rickshaw that comes by is driven by a young boy and she decides not to get on because she doubts his strength and experience in case there would be an accident. The next one who comes by is an old man and she lets that one pass on, thinking he is not strong enough to pull her and get her home in time. But then comes a strong rickshaw driver, and she gets on knowing she can trust that she will arrive at her destination safely. The comparison is drawn to different people who try to offer us a way to get to God and heaven, but we have to be careful not to be deceived. It is Jesus' miraculous birth, life, death, and resurrection that give us the confidence to know that He is the only One who truly can save us from sin and death and lead us to heaven.
2.BEN 02 Markorsharjaal: The second tract with the picture of a butterfly tells a story of a spider that builds a web in a garden between two trees. He works hard before sunrise to build his web. He may catch a few insects, but his web is visible in the sunlight. The spider waits patiently and moves slowly in the light. As the sun goes down, a beautiful butterfly and a bee get caught in the web. Though they try to get away they don't have the strength, and now in the darkness the spider moves quickly to devour his feast. The tract quotes from James 1:14-15 and Romans 6:23 as in the first tract. It also quotes Paul from Romans 7:28 saying "who will free me from the sin nature active in me." It introduces Jesus as the only one having the power to free us from the web of sin and power of Satan, the spider: 1 John 3:8 says Jesus came to destroy the devil's work. The tract then refers to Jesus being God's son, fully God and fully man, whose sinless life and death on the cross sets us free. The final quotes are from Heb 2:14-15, Matt 4:12 and Romans 10:11. It ends by saying if the reader feels trapped in sin, then Jesus said those who were weary and heavy laden could come to him and find rest. The reader is encouraged to come to Jesus, confess their sins, and Jesus can make them into a new creation.
3.BEN 03 Nirapodjatra: The third tract with a picture of a rickshaw is called The Sure and Safe Path. It is basically a repeat of the analogy of the woman waiting to take a rickshaw and choosing the strong rickshaw driver over the young boy and the old man. It says that there are many religious leaders who have come saying they have the truth about the way to God. But Jesus was born miraculously without a father by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said he didn't come to destroy sinners but to save them. Jesus never sinned, never committed adultery, but he showed that he had compassion on prostitutes and adulterers, offering them forgiveness and an opportunity to leave their old life of sin. He willingly gave his life as a sacrifice for sin, and triumphed over death. It tells a story of a boy who was warned by his family about the dangers of getting caught by an undercurrent in the river. Though they taught him to swim, one day he got caught in the undercurrent, and even though the people tried to save him, they couldn't rescue him from the whirlpool, and he died. When we are caught in the whirlpool of sin, it is not advice and teaching that will save us, we need someone who is powerful enough to come and rescue us. Jesus is that person. We can call to Him and be saved.
4.BEN 04 Nirbuddita: The fourth tract with the drops of blood on it is titled Wisdom. It starts with a story from WWII where a German soldier is wounded and unconcious, and is taken by the allies to a British hospital. There the doctors determine that he is in urgent need of blood in order to survive. As they find a donor whose blood type matches his, the German gains conciousness and the doctors tell him that they are going to give him blood to save his life and not to worry. But the German says that he must only be given German blood. When the doctors tell him there is no other blood available except British blood, he refuses to receive it and says he would rather die than accept anything other than German blood in his body. It uses the story to illustrate how without blood no living thing can survive. Life is in the blood. The blood of a sacrifice is important to God, as illustrated in His accepting Abels sacrifice and not Cain's. All through the OT there has always been a need for the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sin. But there is a need for a sacrifice greater than animals to pay for the guilt of sin. This is why God sent Jesus to die as a sacrifice for us. John the Baptist said of Jesus, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." Jesus came and did many miraculous things to prove that He was the perfect Lamb whose blood could pay for our sin. Jesus took the penalty for the whole world's sin when He died on a cross. The reader is invited to think about Jesus and how He loves them and suffered for them and died in their place so they could live eternally.
5.BEN 05 Sondhan: The fifth tract with the man inside the red circles is about questions men have about what God is like. It explains that God is good, kind, pure, compassionate and loving. He only does good. It then compares who God is with who Satan is, what God does and what Satan does. It describes Jesus and what He came to do for us by dying for us and making a way for us to be saved from the evil plan of Satan to destroy us. God's power and his plan are greater than Satan's. It is up to us to choose which path and choice is best. We can choose Jesus and God and have eternal life. Or we can choose Satan and have death.
Tracts in Urdu (Pakistan)
1.Fasting: This tract conveys an imaginary conversation between a Muslim lady and a Christian lady, soon after the Islamic month of Ramadan, during which Muslims are required to fast from sunrise to sunset. In the conversation, the Christian lady explains to her Muslim friend what is the Christian meaning of fasting. The English translation of this tract can be found here. The tract is a full page tract, printed front and back, and then folded in the middle. Urdu reads right to left like Arabic, so the page when folded, has a blank square on the back page. This square on the back is for you to put your own contact address (and the address for Nural-Haque in Bangalore India can also be removed).
